
The idea of CHRP (Consortium of HR Professionals) an exclusive association for HR professionals has been proposed 2 years back, when some like minded HR professionals organized a HR meet in Bangalore. On August 4, 2007, the idea was proposed in a HR Meet happened at Alliance Business Academy, Bangalore. Since then a team started working on the ground realities in setting up the association. They have conducted a survey to get the views and thoughts of HR Professionals. Based on the responses received from the HRites all over the world the team has put their own thoughts and shaped it up. CHRP is an association, but works as a corporate body

CHRP is formed in an endeavor to set up a common platform for all the HR professionals across the globe. We aim to bring the members of the HR fraternity together under one roof to aid valuable exchanges.
Throughout the history of the industrial revolution we have witnessed the rise of the production era, the sales or marketing era and now we are the threshold of the new PEOPLES’ era.
Its time that the HR professional world over take a note of this change and gear themselves to mitigate the challenges lined up for the future.
A dynamic field like HR can never be confined to theoretical practices and models, and hence to recognize and consolidate the best practices around the world we designed the dynamic machinery of CHRP. |

A recognized body which would
- Hold conferences, seminars, workshops, panel discussions on HR to enable a robust sharing of best practices
- Identify and reward best HR practices in the industry (SME’s & Startups)
- Reward professionals for their outstanding contribution
- Online updates to the members on current and future trends (HR and other business centric) Newsletters, Online Magazine, Journals.
- Exchange and share information or practices by publishing research papers
- Give a firm base to the novices or new entrants (Training, Career Planning & Guidance)
- Online support through web chat, supported by the experienced HR professionals
- Certify the professional on certain level of standards prescribed by various models like P-CMM, Donald Kirpatrick, etc. This certification shall be highly regarded in the industry and will aid HR professionals shape a better career for themselves.
